We are looking for a Business Unit Director Life Sciences & Electronics. A high-level managerial position responsible for the complete management of the Unit, ensuring financial results, project quality, and the professional growth of the team. The role coordinates the Operation Director, the Business Developer, promoting company values and adopting a cooperative style aligned with the “One Firm” principle.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the strategic plan of the Unit.Manage client relationships, participate in tenders, and oversee proposals.Approve contracts, handle critical issues, and develop market opportunities.Enhance corporate visibility through events and publications.Full P&L responsibility for the Unit, including budget and variance management.Manage contracts up to €500k, invoicing processes, and collections.Monitor forecasts, WIP, and activities of the Operation Director.Provide high-level consultancy to clients on innovation, market trends, and regulations.Supervise project initiation and ongoing management.Strengthen the company’s technical reputation.Plan team development and identify recruitment/training needs.Directly involved in the selection of senior staff.Optimize resources in collaboration with Country and Division Directors.Promote and embody company values.Job RequirementsKey Requirements:Fluent in both English and Italian.Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.Full ownership of budget, financial results, and commercial offers.Excellent contract management and negotiation experience.Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems (ideally Vantagepoint).The role requires availability to travel.Secondary Requirements:Knowledge of the Italian and international regulatory landscape in engineering and construction.Other InfoLocation: Milan and Rome.Seniority level: DirectorEmployment type: ContractJob function: Business Development and SalesIndustries: Staffing and RecruitingWe’re committed to keeping you informed about opportunities and updates as part of our recruitment process.
