About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Development Manager to work in Rome on a fixed‑term contract (12 months). This is a founding role within a growing, well‑funded company that partners with Italy’s premium restaurants. You will report to the Sales Lead and focus on building new restaurant relationships across your region.What You’ll Be DoingMap, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants within your region in an organized, area‑level fashion.Support partners in joining Deliveroo and provide the best experience to them.Communicate with restaurants via visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.RequirementsComfortable targeting new business and proven sales experience.Confidence dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, phone, or email.Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.Comfortable with negotiation.Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.Tenacious drive to achieve results.Why DeliverooOur mission is to transform the way you shop and eat by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops, and riders.
