You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Retex’s clientele by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating and closing deals.The Role You Will Play :Strategic Vision: As a Business Development Director, you will drive Retex’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your insights will position Retex as a key partner in marketing and communication, fostering opportunities across our offerings.Industry Expertise: Analyze specific industries and attract relevant prospects. Conduct research, monitoring, and audits in collaboration with relevant directors to ensure Retex stays ahead of industry trends and delivers tailored solutions.Client-Centric Approach: Promote our products and services by addressing or anticipating client objectives, developing value propositions based on their needs, using a consultative and multidisciplinary approach. Building rapport and collaboration will be essential.Sales Excellence: Develop sales strategies, identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, and execute the sales process from planning to closing, utilizing your negotiation skills and commercial awareness.Project Management: Oversee marketing and communication projects, ensuring their successful execution from start to finish. Participate in RFPs and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.RequirementsWhile you may not meet all criteria, we believe you would excel in this role with these characteristics:Educational and Professional Mastery: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role, preferably with a background in Marketing & Communications. Experience with clients in sectors like Consumer & Hard Goods, Health & Pharma, Telco & Utilities, Travel & Services is a plus.Technical Fluency: Proven success in sales and business development, with the ability to drive client growth and manage the sales process from planning to closure.Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional negotiation abilities, commercial awareness, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2 level). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Initiative and Organization: Ability to build rapport, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate proactive motivation to achieve results in a dynamic environment.Other InformationOur team comprises diverse skills and experiences.
