As a leading Italian company in the cable industry, we have established an excellent reputation with a comprehensive range of products and services, as well as customer-specific system solutions for energy transmission and distribution.We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Business Controller to perform all planning, controlling, and reporting activities in the main business areas, with a focus on revenue and OpEx.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure planning, monitoring, and reporting of OpEx (personnel costs, installation, and inventory costs) and CapEx.Provide information on deviations from budget to achieve year-end results.Develop different scenarios (budget, forecast, and pre-closing), ensuring alignment with financial targets.Produce three different P&Ls each month for the company's respective business units to monitor margins.Manage relationships with external consultants (Payroll & Accounting) and coordinate their activities regarding deadlines.Contribute to the preparation of documentation for strategic decision-making.Manage the entire audit process, interacting and coordinating with external auditors as needed.Support the development of dedicated project control processes for orders/projects managed in Italy.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in business/management engineering or similar.1-3 years of experience in a financial controller role.Excellent knowledge of Italian and IFRS accounting standards.Advanced analytical skills, with a strong focus on interpreting business trends and financial data.Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial analysis tools (e.g., Tagetik and Power BI) is a plus.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.Self-motivation and independence, with the ability to make informed decisions aligned with organizational strategy.Working ConditionsChallenging, exciting, and varied activities.Open, collegial corporate culture.A highly motivated and competent team.Option to work from home.Business mobile phone and notebook provided.
