As part of our Corporate Security Organization, we are looking for a highly skilled person who will be responsible for the position of Business Continuity Manager within u-blox. In this role, you will coordinate activities contributing to Business Continuity Management across the company.Your ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-moving environment will ensure your success in this role.Additionally, you will support the development of our company’s security strategy by collaborating with peers in the Corporate Security Organization and other departments such as IT, Site Management, Supply Chain Management, HR, and Quality.The role can be based at our headquarters in Thalwil or in Sgonico, Italy.Your responsibilitiesDevelop and implement Business Continuity Management policies, processes, templates, and plans.Identify, assess, report, and continuously monitor business continuity risks throughout the organization.Mitigate identified risks by establishing infrastructure for the protection and recovery of critical assets and IT systems.Provide training, conduct testing, and facilitate exercises to ensure Business Continuity Plans are effective.Support the Corporate Security Management and the Executive Committee with crisis response related to Business Continuity threats.Your skills and experienceDegree in Computer Science or related fields; security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, OSCP are a plus.Minimum of 7 years of broad IT experience, including Information Security.Experience with ISO 27001 and project management.Proven experience in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, and Crisis Management, including managing major incidents or crises.Familiarity with ISO standards like ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27005; certifications are advantageous.Self-motivated, strong team player, with excellent analytical skills.Experience in communication, training, coaching, negotiation, and crisis handling.Willingness to travel up to 20% globally.Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Bonus PointsExperience with Business Resilience Management (ISO 22316).German or Italian language skills.What are your perks?Multicultural, international environment with over 50 nationalities.Global project collaboration.Start-up mentality with focus on scaling processes and efficiencies.Training and career development opportunities.Performance and long-term incentive plans.Transportation benefits, sports activities, social events, and a roof terrace.Up to 30 days of vacation, fully paid insurance contributions, and pension contributions.Learn more about u-blox and its mission by watching this video.We value diversity and promote an inclusive culture.
