You will be responsible for coordinating, managing and ensuring target achievement in the assigned competence field.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the integration and the required performances of the different vehicle systems, within the competence fieldEnsuring and monitoring the robustness of the Typical sections, base for the Design convergence phaseEnsuring and monitoring the robustness of the Data released for tooling kick off and production (3D / 2D)Managing and coordinating the work team, including cooperation with other departments, customers, engineering partners and product suppliersEnsuring alignment on technical specifications between teamwork, departments and customerDefining and monitoring a time/budget planning and managing project workloadEnsuring the achievement of the project's technical objectives relevant for the competence fieldManaging the escalation process on issues related to the competence fieldKey RequirementsUp to 5 years of experience in engineering development in the automotive fieldKnowledge of body and trim development for productionKnowledge of materials and production technology with particular attention to Composites and AluminiumKnowledge of tooling lead timeKnowledge of main characteristics affecting target/performancesKnowledge on how to interpret Design modelAbility to translate technical contents/targets into economic/geometric constraints and feasible process solutionsAbility to organize and motivate a team depending on needs and contingent situationsProblem solving and ability to synthesize informationPriority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilienceAbility to manage component and system suppliersDecision making skills with an assertive and persuasive leadership styleAbility to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutionsPreferential RequirementsTechnical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and data release systems)Quality standards, processes, dynamics according to customer (OEM) process and requirementsLegislative, homologation, rating constraintsKnowledge of component validation methods and procedures (e.g., testing specifications)Ability to transfer methodology and know-how within your project team and the departmentAdditional InformationEducation: Technical High School degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials engineering or equivalentLanguage skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
