Job Description:
On behalf of our client, a well-established company specializing in the IT Sector, GRS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Back End Software Developer to join their Nicosia-based team. The successful candidate will be involved in the architecture design and development of the company’s software products and the delivery of customer projects internationally. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Being actively involved in the architecture design
Developing the company’s software products (e.g., cloud-native frameworks serving customers 24/7 handling transactions) and delivering international customer projects
Focusing on back-end processes
Reporting to the Development Team Leader
Bringing new ideas to the table
Adding new features and improving existing ones
Candidate Profile:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and principles
Understanding of web application development concepts
Familiarity with designing transactional systems and IT security
Experience with designing, developing, and consuming APIs
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, PHP
Knowledge of Linux System Administration and SQL is an advantage
Experience with Google Cloud Platform App Engine deployment, Git, and Maven is an advantage
Understanding of iOS or Android development is an advantage
