Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Backend Developer. The Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The role involves creating and managing database schemas, implementing core application logic, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic, and enhancing the product with new features based on user feedback.
Qualifications

Strong Backend Web Development and Software Development skills
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language
Experience with Backend tech stack :
FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic (Python)
SQL, PostgreSQL
Shell scripting for Linux, Terraform
AWS, CI / CD
Experience with API design : GraphQL, REST
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Experience with database management and design
Knowledge of AI or ML applications in financial technology is a plus
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Ability to travel to our new Rome office on a regular basis depending on business needs
Proficiency in English
Strong ambition and worth ethic : results-oriented, driven, no 9-5 mentality
