Main requirements

At least 8 years of professional experience working as a Platform Engineer, with proven expertise in Azure environment;
Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices, with a focus on cloud-native development and deployment methodologies;
Extensive knowledge with Azure platform, architecture and best practices - including relevant Azure services to cloud software development, AKS, networking, storage and other services crucial to Kubernetes deployment;
Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes, including cluster administration, application deployment, networking and security;
Understanding of open-source tools and technologies commonly used in Kubernetes environments (FluxCD, Kong and Linkerd) and their integration with Azure;
Experience with CI / CD pipelines and GitOps principles, ideally with expertise in GitHub Actions or similar tools, and their integration with Kubernetes and Azure Resource Manager;
Experience with SDLC, secure CI / CD practices and Agile methodologies;
Knowledgeable of IaC and Terraform, particularly for Azure and Kubernetes deployments;
Proficiency in programming languages - like Go, C#, JavaScript, Python - and scripting languages - like Bash or Shell;
Understanding of user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevX) concepts, focusing on designing and building user-friendly cloud-bases tools and platforms;
Strong background of security best practices and zero-trust principles;
Fluency in English (B2 / C1 Level);
Availability to work remotely, based in Portugal.
