Overview
TXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT Group, is looking for a professional to join the team as an Avionic System Engineer within the Aerospace & Defence Business Unit. The selected professional will join an established team and work in a structured and collaborative environment. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a team, share information, and manage tasks autonomously while meeting assigned deadlines.
Responsibilities
Define specifications and manage avionic equipment, including discrete and analog signal management
Interact with suppliers for the design and management of avionic equipment specifications
Knowledge of main avionic protocols: ARINC 429, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553
Experience in using DOORS for requirements management
Aircraft support experience
Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
Native Italian speaker and good command of English, both written and spoken
Proficiency with standard productivity tools (Office suite)
Nice to have / Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of main on-board systems and instruments
Experience with requirements management and problem reporting tools, such as IBM Rational DOORS and Serena Dimensions
Knowledge of DO-178B or DO-178C and the avionic software lifecycle
Educational background
Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering
