OverviewAutomation Hardware Technical Support Europe role at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Remote-based in Italy or Germany. The position reports to the Technical Support Manager and involves second-level support for Automation Platforms in an international environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide second-level technical support by resolving customer problems and issues through expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms.Drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention.Apply critical thinking to determine appropriate actions to rapidly repair instrumentation, train customers and Service Engineers, and support the Applications Team.Verify operational performance and data quality of systems to support the commercial organization.Operate independently in Italian/Germany territory and in Europe as needed (overnight travel required).Install and maintain automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.Collaborate with a team to share standard methodologies, mentor colleagues, and provide experienced technical support.QualificationsBiomedical engineer or equivalent.At least 5 years of Technical Support or Field Service experience with Diagnostics market.Early careers are welcome with troubleshooting experience gained during thesis or internships.Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.Ability to travel across the country and periodically to other European countries; overnight travel.
