You will manage our automation machines, from conveyors to sorting systems, ensuring maximum efficiency. If errors occur or performance shows room for improvement, you will take initiative to find and implement a solution. You will also train and guide colleagues, keeping the Technical Engineers team updated with problem-solving training related to device resolution and maintenance controls to ensure proper operation of our automation systems.Basic QualificationsDiploma of secondary education.Extensive experience with automation through PLC-based control systems and diagnostic problem-solving in processing and continuous production environments.Extensive experience supporting various conveyors and sorting systems.Extensive experience in materials handling, visualization of flow and capacity, and monitoring.Experience with at least one of the following tools: Microsoft Office, project management tools and EPLAN.Ladder Logic and programming of structures with Siemens, Allen-Brady or Codesys PLC systems.Ignition SCADA or similar platform and Human-Machine Interface (HMI).EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, AS-i or other fieldbus networks.VFD, safety gateway and I/O devices.Advanced knowledge of English and Italian, spoken and written.Preferred QualificationsDegree in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial electronics or other technical field.Experience with ISO 13849 and ISO 62061 standards.Experience in distributed environments across multiple sites.Experience in project management with multiple models, such as Agile and Waterfall.Experience with Six Sigma, data analysis and process improvement techniques.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
