The IN Events team leads the vision and execution of High Velocity Events (HVEs) for our customers – think Amazon Great Indian Festival, Prime Day, Great Independence Day, Great Summer Sale, and Great Freedom Sale! We collaborate with category and program teams across Amazon to deliver exciting offers, personalized shopping experiences, and a sense of celebration during the biggest shopping events of the year.

As an Associate Site Merchandiser on the Events team, you will partner closely with marketing managers, designers, and cross‑functional merchandising teams to shape the look and feel of our Events page and other central deal properties and stores during HVEs.
Key Responsibilities

Master Merchandising Tools & Widgets: Gain expertise of merchandising tools and widgets (Welabs, Symphony, Bulls Eye, Sonar, and more).
Lead HVE Merchandising: Execute the merchandising for Events pages, central deal properties, and HVE‑specific stores. Work with designers and category/program teams to gather inputs and ensure timely readiness.
Execute WebLabs to experiment with different customer experiences to consistently identify improvement areas in the shopping experience during HVEs.
Lead development of campaigns across customer touchpoints, both on‑site (homepage, category pages, search) and off‑site (e.g., emails).
Ensure Merchandising Quality: Review and provide feedback on merchandising efforts from partner teams to deliver a consistent and seamless customer experience through the site.
Drive Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Deals responsibilities

Deals planning & allocation (monthly & for HVEs)
Deals approvals process
Deals analysis (Price compliance, ML compliance, WBR / MBR Decks, Page‑0)
Deals suppressions root‑cause and resolution
Cross‑category reachout with Deals POCs for related issues & planning
Deals tagging & Deals pinning planning for HVEs
Deals analysis for post‑mortems / OP1 plans

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma
Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in merchandising tools and widgets
Experience analyzing campaign performance metrics and KPIs
