Associate, ML Data Operations, GO-AI OperationsThis team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers. It serves Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by enabling automation, including real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. One key contribution is supporting fulfillment centers in maintaining inventory accuracy.An Associate in this role watches video of stowing actions at a fulfillment center, understands it thoroughly, and uses human judgment in combination with tools to indicate the activity captured in the video. They verify or mark the location of products through a tool while maintaining a high level of accuracy, contributing to the fulfillment center\'s stow quality. This is an operational role. Under general supervision, the Associate performs precise and thorough video/image audits with high accuracy and speed to aid defect reduction.ResponsibilitiesWatch several hundred videos per shift and provide responses with goals on accuracy (quality), speed (productivity), and adherence to acceptable practices.Maintain breaks at pre-defined slots and spend 6.8 to 7 hours per day answering videos.For remote/homed-based roles, maintain a dedicated workspace (table, chair, sufficient lighting) and ensure workspace data is only accessible by the employee.Candidate AttributesWillingness to work in a non-tech role for a contract duration of 6 months.Ability to audit image/video/text-based jobs.Ability to identify details from blurry or less sharp videos and provide correct responses; high level of attention and focus on screen.Willingness to work toward incremental targets/goals on quality and productivity.Fast pace of implementation and consistent performance.Ability to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts), with remote teams, and be an exceptionally good team player.Readiness to come to the office for a few days when required (applicable for associates working from home).Willingness to turn ON laptop camera during virtual meetings.A day in the lifeAssociates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts. They typically work a 9-hour shift, including pre-scheduled breaks. Shift timings may change every 3-4 months or as required by the business. If working night shifts, a night shift allowance is provided per applicable Amazon work policy.Weekly Offs: Rotational two consecutive days off (a 5-day work week with 2 days off, not necessarily Saturday and Sunday) or as per business discretion.About the teamThe Data Auditing Operations team provides human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities to enable hands-free active stowing through visual audits on videos/images. Videos are typically short (15–20 seconds) and are reviewed to provide information on products stored at fulfillment centers. These reviews help improve the effectiveness of automated processes and contribute to maintaining stow quality.
