We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five‑star boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and surrounded by a 300‑acre organic estate, vineyards, and exquisite gardens.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of high‑end restaurant operations, a genuine passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a refined environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elegant service flow.
Supervise and guide the team, providing leadership, coaching, and hands‑on assistance when needed.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Lead onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
Prepare staff schedules and manage table assignments to ensure optimal service coverage.
Interact with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle requests or issues with professionalism and grace.
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine‑dining environment.
Familiarity with restaurant management systems and operational tools.
Strong customer‑service orientation and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Fluent English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
Solid knowledge of food, wine, and service standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
Outstanding organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.
