Assistant Curator page is loaded## Assistant Curatorlocations: St Lucia Campustime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-56434* Part time (0.5FTE), fixed term until 31 December 2026* Base salary will be in the range $82,133 - $91,295 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)* Based at our**About This Opportunity**The RD Milns Antiquities Museum at The University of Queensland is recruiting a fixed term Assistant Curator to work with the Museum Manager/Curator and Director to care for, interpret, and facilitate access to the Museum's collection.As Queensland’s foremost collection in this field, the RD Milns Antiquities Museum is committed to being a highly accessible teaching museum and enriching learning for university students, researchers, and the wider public.This is a 0.5 FTE part-time position. The standard work days **are Thursdays and Fridays, plus alternating Wednesdays** subject to operational requirements and confirmed in consultation with the staff member and the Museum Manager.Key responsibilities will include assisting the Manager/Curator and Director to:* Deliver the Museum’s physical and digital exhibition program;* Manage the Museum’s collection and use the KE Emu Database system;* Facilitate collection access for UQ students and classes;* Work with a team of casual staff and volunteers;* Other duties as required.**About UQ**As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
