The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced Asset and Transaction Managers across the full investment lifecycle of real estate projects, from acquisition, permitting and development to leasing, financing, and divestment, with a specific focus on value-add deals.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day support in the management of the Italian Barings real estate assetsAssistance in permitting processes, development phases, and leasing activities alongside senior Asset ManagerAssist with implementing asset management initiatives including lease prolongations and lease restructuringSupport the Transactions team during asset acquisitions and disposal processesPrepare and update internal reports for Portfolio Managers and Investors, including business plan updates and scenario analysesDeal with all advisors involved in the management of the assets, such as property managers, agents, brokers, valuers, architects, SGRs, insurers, partners, etc.Maintain and analyze asset-level data to support investment decisions and strategic planningImplementation of ESG strategies in accordance with Barings’ objectives, policies and proceduresLiaison with internal teams including Finance, Research, Portfolio Management, ESGRequired QualificationsFluency in both Italian and EnglishAt least 2 years of experience in real estate, ideally in asset management or advisory rolesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldStrong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and the OfficeExcellent analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work and communicate collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentA good working knowledge of the technical, legal and regulatory provisions associated with the roleHighly motivated with a strong work ethicWhat We OfferExposure to a wide range of real estate asset classes and strategiesAn international, collaborative, and dynamic work environmentOpportunity to learn and grow within a leading global real estate investment platformRequisite Skills Additional SkillsBarings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
