We were meant to fly.As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will primarily be involved in the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical components and modules. Your responsibilities will include working day and night shifts in the assembly and test department.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAssembly mechanical parts, components, modules, and resolves assembly problemsInstall the parts in the test cell, connect the fluidic elements for lubrication etc, connect the relevant instrumentationPerform tests of the assembled mechanical component, lead by the relevant test engineersApply maintenance to equipmentAny other manufacturing processes to meet business requirementsMaintain Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality related and other Compliance requirements in accordance with regulations and GE policiesQualifications/RequirementsHigh School technical diplomaAbility to read and work with engineering technical drawings or instructions.Proficiency in using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers) for tasks like rig test component alignmentKnowledge of fluidic systems and basic instrumentationProven ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systemsHigh-quality and accurate work outputFluency in Italian and EnglishAvailability for travel, including outside the EU, and willingness to work shifts in exceptional casesWork visa in accordance with local regulationsDesired CharacteristicsMechanical labor and machining experience would be beneficialAbility to multitask, handle varied workloads, work independently, and maintain efficiency and effectivenessHigh level of attention to detail is emphasizedGood verbal communication skillsWillingness to travel and handle overtime or short business trips as required by customer demandWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
