OverviewArea Manager, Fulfilment Center Operations at Amazon leads a large and diverse team to ensure your area keeps pace with demand. This hands-on role covers the complexity of global operations and focuses on driving productivity while collaborating with colleagues to address challenges, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites, with a primary focus on maintaining safety standards and monitoring process efficiency. Your days will include routine team management, daily operational tasks, individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning. You will collaborate with teams across the business and external partners to meet customer demands and targets, analyze data and performance metrics with leaders, and discuss the operational implications of technical improvements with engineers.About the teamCustomer Fulfilment (CF) is a global team handling more than 1.5 million orders daily. CF operates from Fulfilment Centres, the heart of Amazon’s fast-paced Operations network, and supports dynamic inventory and round-the-clock deliveries. Teams include roles across physical product handling and data analysis to support smart decision-making across the business.ResponsibilitiesLead a large, diverse team to maintain safety standards and achieve productivity targets within your area.Monitor and maintain process efficiency; manage routine team tasks and daily operational activities.Handle individual escalations and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Engage in wide-scale operational contingency planning and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.Analyze data and performance metrics with leaders to inform operational decisions and assess the impact of technical improvements with engineers.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degreeFull proficiency in written and verbal Turkish and EnglishAt least 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, team management, and dive deepExperience in production, planning, or warehouse environmentsLean and Kaizen knowledgeSafety awarenessPreferred QualificationsExperience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadershipExperience in a logistical working environmentExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environmentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
