OverviewArea Manager - Logistics at Amphora Logistics. The Area Manager will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and optimizing several international logistics warehouses (Italy, UK, US, and future locations) based in Italy. The main objective is to ensure smooth operational performance, alignment with KPIs, implementation of best management practices, and adherence to quality, safety, and service standards. This role requires leadership, analytical vision, and management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure productivity, and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes.We are a scale-up that values a motivated, diverse team, trust, responsibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Our mission is to help e-Commerce businesses scale their logistics with our own tech platform to outsource and digitize their entire logistics operation efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily operations of several logistics warehouses in the assigned region.Ensure compliance with established KPIs (service levels, productivity, operating costs, inventory accuracy, delivery times, among others).Implement and standardize processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce incidents.Monitor inventory levels, ensuring proper control and accuracy.Manage and develop warehouse teams, fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.Identify improvement areas, propose action plans, and lead resource optimization initiatives.Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and applicable regulations.Report operational results to management, proposing corrective plans when necessary.Coordinate with other departments (transportation, operations, sales, etc.) to guarantee an integrated logistics flow.Qualifications5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.Previous experience leading large teams (supervisors, warehouse managers, etc.).Experience in international logistics operations.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.Strong leadership and communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving mindset.Fluent English; Italian native; additional languages are a plus.Availability to travel.Offer / RequirementsFull-time contract.Work location: MilanStart date in October 2025Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 with flexible hours.Candidate referral program.Team-building events and social gatherings.
