The company seeks an Architectural Project & Business Development Specialist (Francia & Regno Unito).The role is suited to an experienced professional, with a strong technical background, who has worked in a similar position with companies operating on a project/contract basis.ResponsibilitiesSource and develop international business leads with museums, architects, designers and cultural institutions internationally (France & United Kingdom)Be responsible for managing, coordinating and growing strategic relationships and commercial partnershipsWork closely with the family-led company and the business development department, to lead the development of bids, tenders and/or negotiations up to the successful conclusionCreate and conduct proposal presentations to potential clientsAble to work with Company Representatives in international marketsAs a key member of the business development team, contribute to the business’ growth, innovation and profitabilityRequired QualificationsIndustry recognized degree in architecture or engineering, and, preferably, a post graduate qualificationAble to legally work in ItalyAble to speak, read and write English, Italian and French fluentlyExperience with customized construction project work in international markets in private and public sectors5+ years’ experience in business development or sales management roleAble to travel abroad frequentlyStrong communication and presentation skills and knowledgeable of other culturesExcellent problem solving and organizational skillsFlexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learningFamiliarity with museums, cultural institutions, designers, architects in public and private sectors and not-for-profit environmentsPersonal Skills / CharacteristicsSelf-motivated and able to take responsibilityAble to take initiative in response to direction or instruction and a proactive approach to daily tasksAble to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficientlyAble to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficientlyMust have a natural ability to engage in relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve and build upon themA strong team player, straightforward, open and direct with the ability to work effectively with personnel of different disciplines and all levelsMust be mature, cultured, credible and professional.
