Job Description
Otis, a global leader in the production, installation, and maintenance of elevators and escalators, is looking to strengthen its maintenance team by recruiting an apprentice (intern) to start a professional apprenticeship of 24 months. The selected candidate will be based in Bologna (ESA location), working under the mentorship of a seasoned technician to learn all aspects of elevator and escalator maintenance and repair, and will be trained to obtain the required license for independent work.
Responsibilities
The apprentice will:

Learn and perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on elevators and escalators.
Follow company operating procedures and safety protocols.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with equipment.
Obtain the mandatory licensing for independent operations.
Collaborate with teammates, demonstrating initiative and a focus on results.

Qualifications

Strong passion for mechanics and electronics, with a desire to build a career in elevator technology.
Completion of a technical institute or professional school program (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, etc.).
Interest in hands‑on activities and commitment to safety.
Orientation toward action and results.
Self‑stimulation, autonomy, and time‑management skills.
Valid driver’s licence Category B.
Resident of Bologna or surrounding province.

Contract and Schedule
Professional apprenticeship (Internship) with a duration of 24 months, full‑time.
Location
