Overview
We are looking for an Application Engineer to support the LU-VE Plant Division in Italy. The role reports to the Application Engineering Manager and is based in Uboldo (VA), Italy.
Mission of the role
The Application Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the selection and development of products, mainly to the sales department and also to distributors, direct customers, and consultants.
You will be in charge of

Harmonising relations with the commercial network and between the various business departments involved in order development by providing the right technical-commercial support
Checking the selection tools and collaborating with the functions involved in the development of increasingly better tools
Searching new selection systems increasingly efficient
Coordinating activities and managing the flow of information to the process of development and production of orders, in particular for special machines, supporting the technical department
Controlling selection activities especially to orders acquired in compliance with the rules of feasibility and corporate sustainability
Collaborating synergistically with the various business functions in the objective to improve the process and support the entire group in the application of the procedures of its competence
Monitoring offers in terms of type of products required, application conditions and product configuration in order to provide input to the standardisation of ranges on market needs

Education & Experience we are looking for

Preferable 1 year in the role/similar role in medium/large companies preferable in the refrigeration sector
Engineering Degree (Energy, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering) or High school diploma (Technical diploma)

Qualifications we are looking for

Language skill: English (fluent)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with special attention to EXCEL
Preferable knowledge of SAP management system
Strong Attitude to Communication and Interpersonal Relationships
