Application Engineer
Location: Headquarters and main plant in Casole D'Elsa, Siena (Italy)
Purpose

Engage with customers/subsidiaries to understand project requirements.
Inform customers and internal sales teams about the best solutions tailored to each project.
Support Pre-Sales activities.
Conduct preliminary engineering and pricing.
Provide cross-functional support for projects.
Ensure product placement aligns with project specifications.

Responsibilities

Request feasibility analyses for estimates.
Draft estimates.
Discuss appropriate solutions with various departments for each offer.
Manage all aspects of the bidding process to meet deadlines.
Develop product prescription activities.

Activities

Analyze feasibility of offer requests.
Develop professional business proposals following company standards.
Support bid processes and management.
Assist the sales network in technical discussions with customers.
Prepare forecast cost statements for contracts.
Coordinate with suppliers for specific material requests.
Communicate with branches or foreign customers for estimates.
Conduct periodic technical visits to design studios.

Knowledge

Proficiency with Office suite.
Fluent in English.
High technical knowledge of the products.
Understanding of Project Management principles.

Ability to manage stress and maintain self-control.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
