Job Description Summary
The Business Analytics Analyst will play a key role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. This position involves analyzing complex business data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support various departments.
Main Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business insights to stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for improvement and address potential challenges.
Conduct in-depth ad‑hoc analysis to support specific business initiatives and answer critical questions from management.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT) to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Support the implementation and optimization of business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality, data governance, and analytical processes.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices in business analytics and data science.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Proven experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
Experience with business intelligence (BI) platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
Knowledge of the healthcare or medical device industry is a plus.
