PositionMilan Program CoordinatorReports to : Vice President of Program ServicesRequisites :Excellent communication skills in both English and ItalianKnowledge of American Higher Education systems and study abroad programsAttention to detailGood customer service skillsEvents management experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office2-4 years experienceFlexibilityIndependent workerDutiesManages logistics for student arrival and coordinates student orientation (reserving spaces, content, power point updates, arrival events, tours, etc.)Develops, manages and executes inclusive events and overnight excursions according to SAI proceduresAdvises and assists students: assists with roommate disputes; homesickness; serious concerns; is available to accompany students to doctor appointments, police station and elsewhere as requiredServes as emergency contact 24 / 7 while programs are in sessionManages facebook / twitter accounts and social mediaWhen required, executes SAI Disciplinary ProceduresManages programming budgeting and reconciliation according to SAI Accounting ProceduresManages invoicing and billing for housing including damage reportingManages, with great tact and diplomacy, all vendor and partner relationships (schools, housing, other third parties)Manages housing and housing assignments, including selection of apartments that meet SAI standards and handles maintenance, cleaning and coordinating linen cleanings and general student satisfactionCommunicates with parents / students before, during and after the semester according to SAI’s Communication PolicySupports the Vice President as neededAssists with customized faculty led programs as needed including research, development, pricing, preparation of pre-departure materials and execution of programsOther duties as assignedAvailable : Immediately. Salary commensurate with experience.
