Then come work with us and be part of MSC’s family!AGILE TESTER - AUTOMATIONThe Agile Tester is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and execution of both automated and manual tests for a Scrum team. They provide leadership for effective testing to the Scrum teams to promote software quality at the end of each sprint. They will be using the Scrum process and guidelines defined by architects. They have experience in testing within an Agile process and a DevOps continuous integration process, where the goal is to automate the tests during the sprint. They understand what unit testing is and work in a team with developers and product specialists to ensure quality at the end of the sprint.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user stories in collaboration with Product Owners and Product Specialists to ensure clarity and test coverage.Collaborate daily with developers to define and refine test cases for each user story.Apply and promote good testing practices and community-driven guidelines.Design, implement, and maintain both automated and manual test cases.Execute functional tests for each user story developed by the team.Develop and maintain automated regression tests for new features.Implement automated system integration tests for each release cycle.Contribute to performance, load, and other non-functional testing efforts.Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team discussions.Share knowledge and support peers through the testing community.Assist teammates and contribute to a collaborative team environment.Create and maintain user-facing documentation such as how-to guides.Qualification and ExperienceMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in web projects.Experience in software testing within Agile, especially Scrum, is a strong plus.Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for both functional and non-functional testing.Experience in using Playwright for automation testing of web applications is a plus.Familiarity with manual testing techniques and test case design.Experience in automated regression and system integration testing.Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Scrum teams.Experience in enterprise software delivery and lifecycle management.Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.Proficiency in documenting test strategies, test cases, and user-facing guides.WHAT WE OFFERWe offer a range of benefits including new Learning opportunities, a comprehensive Welfare System, Life and Health Insurance, Modern Workstation and Discounts within the MSC group.Moreover, MSC Technology Italy fosters a culture of innovation and wellbeing by simultaneously pursuing various initiatives.
