Job Description SummaryAs part of the Component Repair Insourcing Program, we are seeking a Facility & Maintenance Manager to oversee activities related to:Detailed engineering design of the repair siteSecuring environmental and construction permitsManaging civil works, including infrastructure upgrades and facility modificationsPreparing the facility for equipment installation and systems integrationOverseeing facility maintenance post-setupThis role initially focuses on facility setup and transitions into a key position responsible for ongoing maintenance and operational efficiency.The Lead Program Manager will be part of the Program Managers team and report to the PMO Team Leader.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Program Manager will coordinate internal and external resources such as engineering firms, civil contractors, local authorities, and EHS leaders to ensure the successful and timely launch of the new facility.Primary responsibilities include:Schedule management: monitor project deadlines, set tasks, and motivate team membersEngineering Design Oversight: participate in the facility's engineering design process and ensure permits are secured on scheduleCivil work: manage suppliers for structural reinforcements, modifications, drainage, foundations, electrical and air systems, safety features, and warehouse enhancementsEHS Compliance: ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulationsBudget control: monitor costs and forecast expendituresRisk management: identify, assess, and mitigate project risksBasic RequirementsDegree in Engineering, preferably civil engineering or equivalent experienceFluency in English and Italian, both written and spokenExperience leading teams in complex projects, program/project management, or planningAbility to work with local and remote resources across different locationsProven experience in facility management and maintenanceAbility to prioritize business needs and manage budgetsFull availability to travel to Avenza for extended periodsAdditional RequirementsExperience in component manufacturing or repair in turbomachinery, such as aeroderivative or heavy-duty gas turbinesExtensive experience within GE/BH repair businessAbout usAero Alliance is a joint venture serving customers of Baker Hughes and GE Power, as well as the ASP network.
