Job Summary: We seek an experienced configuration engineer skilled in setup and execution of configuration management activities for safety- and mission-critical airborne systems. The role includes mentoring team members, managing activities, and ensuring standards compliance.
Responsibilities include:

Defining and maintaining Configuration Management policies per standards and company needs.
Supervising HW/SW configuration activities related to Civitanavi's avionic equipment.
Overseeing lifecycle data items during design to ensure compliance.
Managing Change Control Board activities during design and production phases.
Mentoring configuration engineers for their professional growth and managing team priorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, aerospace engineering, management engineering, or similar.
Minimum of 5 years in aerospace configuration management (SAE_EIA-649 standard).
Experience in team coaching and management (1-5 members).
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management tools.
Strong ethics and ability to work in multidisciplinary, international teams.
Organized with systematic documentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Experience with avionic software certification.
Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, SAP ERP.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle per RTCA DO-178C standards.
Knowledge of hardware development standards RTCA DO-254 and EASA AMC20-152A.
