Job Description:Gi Group, Italy's leading employment agency with over 200 branches nationwide and more than 1800 HR professionals, is seeking an Intern for the Gastronomy Counter for a company in the organized food retail sector with widespread points of sale across Italy.The selected candidate will join the Gastronomy Department of a retail store within the organized distribution sector and, under the supervision of the Department Manager but working independently, will be responsible for:Preparing and managing the display counterSanitizing the environment and tools according to HACCP standardsReceiving, inspecting, and storing products in refrigerated areasCutting and weighing cold cuts and cheesesServing customersRequirements:Previous experience of at least 6 months in a similar role within GDOAutonomy in cutting cold cuts and cheesesFamiliarity with weighing scales and proficiency with knives and slicersImmediate availability and flexibility to work shiftsPossession of Level II Food Handler Certification (HACCP)Knowledge of hygiene and health standardsContract Offer:Full-time employment on day shifts, including weekends and holidays, based in Magliano Sabina (RI).We are part of Gi Group Holding (www.gigroupholding.it), Italy's leading multinational employment agency and a major global player in workforce development services.
