As an Accounting Operations Associate Accountant at SodaStream, you will be responsible for:Working closely with the full finance team on the month-end close, ensuring reporting deadlines are met for all countries in scopeSupporting the Italian market’s financial administration and procedures within set guidelinesBank processingAccounts ReceivablesAccounts PayablesBookkeeping, balance sheet and control account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and preparing/posting journalsCollaborating with the Finance team on external audits, fiscal reporting (VAT/Intrastat), and compliance topicsParticipating in ad hoc activities and process improvement projectsQualificationsRequirements for the role:Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting diplomaKnowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel) and management systemsStrong knowledge of accounting proceduresERP system experience is desired; experience with NetSuite is an advantageTM1 experience is an advantageEnsure compliance with US GAAP and ITA GAAP principlesFluency in English is mandatoryThe right personIs accurate, process-oriented, and proactiveHas a hands-on mentality, is a self-starter, and a strong team playerPossesses good controlling ability that drives resultsHas well-developed communication skills and cultural awarenessGet things done and meet deadlines!
