We are now seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join our Finance team.
This role is key to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions, maintaining smooth payment processes, and supporting our commitment to outstanding guest and partner relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing guest ledger, city ledger, and advance deposits in accordance with procedures
Ensuring that all hotel revenues settled by city ledger are accurately recorded and properly supported
Controlling and balancing all advance deposits
Calculating and processing travel agent commissions and ensuring proper authorization
Following up on overdue accounts and assisting with collections and resolutions
Reconciling receivables accounts, credit card payments, chargebacks, deposits, and commissions
Processing refunds for overpayments or cancelled reservations
Managing month‑end processes, accruals, and journals
Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
Supporting external audits with complete documentation and clear communication
Collaborating closely with colleagues across Finance and other departments to maintain seamless operations
Who We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within luxury hospitality
Proven expertise in hotel accounting and operational systems
Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
High discretion and attention to detail in managing sensitive financial data
Degree in Economics or a related field
Proficiency in Sun System, Opera Cloud, Simphony, Book4Time, and Adaco is a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
A proactive, collaborative, and detail‑oriented mindset
Legal right to work in Italy
