In the context of the SSE International Group, we’re looking for an Accounting Assistant to be included in our Accounting Team who will support the Accounting Manager in daily activities, ensuring and overseeing the correct administrative and accounting processes, in order to support the proper preparation and updating of the accounts and to ensure the preparation and closing of financial statements, including interim ones, by guaranteeing the timely recording of accounting entries.
Responsibilities
Support in managing the Accounts Payable cycle
Support in managing the Accounts Receivable cycle
Monitoring accounts receivable invoicing for specific clients
Quarterly reconciliation of bank statements
Support the function manager during audit reviews by the Statutory Auditor
Support activities related to preparing accounting data for interim financial statements and the annual financial statements (calculation and posting of adjustments).
Profile
Diploma in Accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
3 years of experience in an Administration and Finance department, with exposure to all related professional activities
Good command of the English language
Knowledge of ERP management systems
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
The ideal candidate also has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal and teamwork abilities, adaptability, problem‑solving skills.
The following will be considered a plus during the selection process:
Knowledge of SAP Business One and DocFinance
