Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing tailor made services that address every client's logistics challenges.The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing general clerical duties within the accounting department.Essential Job Duties:Timely and accurate processing of account payable dutiesProcessing invoices by entering them into systemLiaising with operations department to identify and solve any misalignements with provisional costsMaking copies of check runs and matching them to the appropriate invoiceFiling of processed invoices, checks and PO'sPerforming research as neededMonitoring client/vendor account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularitiesBilling, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlinesCommunicating with clients/vendors via phone, email, mail or personallyOther duties as assignedOther Skills and Abilities:Working knowledge of accounting processes and proceduresAttention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and prioritizing skillsAbility to identify errors, and employ problem solving skills to correctProficient in relevant computer applications (i.e MS Office)Good knowledge of Italian tax law and Italian Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesFlexibility and adaptivityGood knowledge of written and spoken EnglishPrevious experience in freight forwarding companies (preferred)Physical Requirements:Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
