Selected candidates will be placed in a dynamic and innovative environment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Learn more at iongroup.com.Your key duties and responsibilitiesEnsure accurate general ledger accounting in compliance with national and international accounting standards (OIC/IFRS)Manage periodic tax obligations (VAT, corporate income taxes, withholding taxes, tax returns)Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statementsAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesMonitor changes in tax and accounting regulations, assessing their impact on the companyManage relationships with external consultants, auditors, and tax authoritiesCollaborate with the Finance team and other departments to ensure proper application of tax regulations across business processesContribute to the improvement of accounting and tax processes, including ERP system optimizationContribute to manage accounting aspects relating to HR managementOther dutiesYou may be asked to support additional finance-related tasks as your role evolves.Your skills, experience, and qualifications requiredMaster’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)Strong understanding of Italian tax regulationsFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office toolsAccuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detailGood communication skills and a collaborative mindsetFluency in Italian and good knowledge of EnglishAvailability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia-RomagnaWhat we offer:Permanent employment contract.Location:MilanImportant notes:According to the Italian Law (L.68/99) please note that candidates from the disability list will be given priority.
