Job Description
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional ready to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative environment?
We are looking to add a Accountant to our Finance Team in Turino. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and interact with senior members in finance, while experiencing the incredible Danfoss culture.
The accountant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cost accounting processes within the SAP system and will also support the organization in Italy with other key administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Execute reliable cost accounting by reviewing invoices processed by an external share service center.
Prepare Journal Entry with correct cost center split of customs imports invoices within short due dates.
Prepare co advertising journal entry along with supporting documentation.
Support Finance team in an SAP ERP system fast-close environment (D+3 for monthly reporting).
Support Finance team with legal taxes requirements (VAT licenses “dichiarazione d’intento”, Intrastat, Conai, VAT, reconciliation taxes and accounting, etc).
Management of Import / Export and custom duties invoices (Bolle Doganali).

Other Financial Administrative Responsibilities

Execute cross check controls of customers exports plafond (Dichiarazione d’intento).
Monitor any need requiring manual payments.
Support Finance Manager in ad hoc activities using SAP ERP system.

Background & Skills

You have a degree in Accounting or Finance and a solid understanding of general accounting practices and strong communication skills.
A few years of professional experience in corporate full general ledger accounting or management accounting, with financial reports preparation.
Practical knowledge of SAP/other integrated software and advanced Excel skills.
Able to complete tasks with accuracy and careful attention to details.
Punctual, good with deadlines, excellent time management skills.
Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented.
Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
Sense of accuracy, flexible approach, self-motivation, good organization, independence.
Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt priorities.
Proactivity, willingness to learn & develop on the job, focus on continuous improvement.
Advanced Italian and English language skills (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
