Social network you want to login/join with:Roquette is a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients.Want to help us make a difference?Using plant-based resources, we collaborate with our customers and partners to imagine and offer ingredients to better feed people and treat patients.Each of our ingredients responds to unique and essential needs, and they enable healthier lifestyles.Roquette is recruiting an Account Manager reporting to the GBU Food Europe for the Italian & Middle East & Africa markets.Position PurposeCustomer sales, account and interaction management.Delivers sales/profit targets and development through prospecting and leveraging business development opportunities.Key AccountabilitiesThe Account Manager Food will have the following key accountabilities:Deliver sales targets and variable margin for the assigned area or segment through prospecting and business development.Detect new customers and identify potential opportunities.Lead and coordinate customer interactions.Monitor sales funnel and customer portfolio.Lead negotiation processes from initial offer through contracts and pricing.Develop strategic account plans.Establish attractive value propositions for new customers.Convert new opportunities into sales.Manage existing customer portfolio with a focus on growth.Input data into SI&OP for own customers.Maintain an entrepreneurial, agile mindset, build relationships, and manage customers.Prospect new customers and create new business in rapidly changing demands.Manage a diverse range of customers, products, and applications.Gain insights through proactive relationships with the customer base.Technical SkillsThe main technical skills required are:Good knowledge of production processes in the food industry.Understanding of starch derivatives and competitive products other than starches.Other Skills RequiredSkills include:NetworkingUsing digital enablersKnowledge of customer and competitionTechnical product knowledgePricing strategy and offer developmentNegotiation preparation, discounts, and rebatesInternal collaborationUnderstanding of commercial policies and digital toolsQualifications/RequirementsEducation: Masters or bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (technical formation)Experience: Experience in Roquette business and salesLanguage and digital skills: Proficiency in Microsoft tools, SAP ERP, and Salesforce CRMBusiness trips: 50-60%If you identify with this position, please apply by uploading your resume and start the journey with us!Roquette is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace that reflects the communities we serve.Learn more about our products, values, and sustainable development ambitions on our website.
