By leveraging the popularity of this platform, VectorBuilder has built a comprehensive portfolio of offerings covering virtually all gene delivery needs from bench to bedside.We are currently seeking an Account Manager to oversee the Southern Europe area to join our team!QualificationsDegree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related fieldFluent in Italian and English (both verbal and written); Spanish and French are strong assetsHigh self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsConfidence and ease in engaging with clients in both academic and commercial settingsPreferred but not requiredExperience in account management or scientific salesBackground in pharmaceutical / biotechnology industries (2+ years)Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g. cloning, virus packaging)Proven ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearlyFamiliarity with CRM systems like HubSpotKey responsibilitiesManage and grow accounts within Southern EuropeDevelop and maintain strong relationships with research institutions and key accounts, acting as their main point of contact through both regular on-site visits and virtual engagements (meetings, presentations, product showcases)Identify new opportunities via direct outreach (e.g. cold calls / emails)Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive supportCollaborate with the Regional Sales Director, internal teams, and fellow account managers to align on strategy, share insights, and ensure customer satisfactionDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of VectorBuilder’s offerings and communicate scientific solutions effectivelyInclusive of quarterly performance commission.
