Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.Main responsibilitiesGeneral Ledger Management: Perform monthly/periodic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Fixed Asset Accounting: Supervision of undercurrent and judgmental activities in Fixed Asset register, in collaboration with Regional Hub.Inventory Accounting: Consolidate and review data for capitalization of variances.Compliance and Controls: Support Head of A2R in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control framework, maintaining documentation of accounting processes and control activities.Process Improvement and Projects: Participate in process design and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Reporting and Analysis: Support in preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian requirements.About youExperience: Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or similar role. Experience in a multinational corporate environment is preferred.Soft and technical skills: Knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP (FI/CO modules); Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling; Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and internal controls; Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail; accuracy in data entry and financial reporting; ability to adapt to new assignments and learn quickly; effective written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders; ability to explain technical accounting matters to non-financial audiences; excellent organizational and time management capabilities; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.Languages: Fluent in Italian (written and spoken); good command of English for business communication.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
